Terms
Terms of Service
The agreement between your company and Stackz for using StockShift. Short, in plain language, and binding once you sign in. Last updated October 27, 2026.
1. The service
StockShift is software for receiving, inventory, delivery and pickup orders, billing and job files, provided over the internet at this site. Stackz may improve or change features over time and will not remove a capability your company relies on without notice.
2. Accounts and seats
A seat is one person who signs in. Your company’s admins decide who has a seat and which role they hold, and are responsible for what their users do. Keep passwords private and tell us at once if you believe an account has been misused. Seats are for people at or working for your company, not for resale.
3. Your data
Everything your team enters or uploads is your company’s data and stays yours. You give Stackz permission to store, process, back up and transmit it only as needed to run the service, support you and meet the law. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you enter, including having the right to hold your customers’ details and to email them. How we handle data is described in the Privacy Policy.
4. Acceptable use
Do not use StockShift to break the law, to send unsolicited email, to store content you have no right to store, to probe or disrupt the service or other customers’ data, or to build a competing product from it. Stackz may suspend a seat or a company that does, after telling the admins where that is practical.
5. Fees
Fees are those shown on the pricing page or in your order form, billed monthly in advance per company unless agreed otherwise. A pilot or trial period agreed in writing is free until its end date. Fees do not include taxes you owe. Stackz may change prices with 30 days’ notice to admins, effective at your next billing period.
6. Availability and support
Stackz works to keep StockShift available at all times and runs maintenance outside busy hours where possible, but does not promise uninterrupted service. Support is by email at the address below, on business days, Central Time. If the connection drops, your work is kept in your browser and sent when the connection returns; once the app has been used on a device with a connection, it also opens there without one.
7. Sales tax, invoices and documents
StockShift calculates sales tax from a built-in table of state-level rates, your company’s own rates, and, when Stackz turns on live tax rates, a rate service. It documents the rate and jurisdiction on each invoice so you can see what to remit where. It is not tax advice. Registering to collect, filing returns and remitting tax remain your company’s responsibility, and you should confirm rates with your accountant or the taxing authority. The same applies to the invoices, bills of lading and other documents the app produces: they reflect what your team entered.
8. Email sent for you
When you tick the box, StockShift emails invoices, invitations and summaries from a Stackz address on your company’s behalf. You are responsible for the recipients being people your company may contact. Stackz may limit sending volume to protect deliverability for everyone.
9. Ending the agreement
Either side may end this agreement at the end of a billing period by notice to the other. You may export all your data as JSON at any time from Settings. After termination Stackz will delete your company’s data on request, normally within 30 days, except where the law requires it to be kept.
10. Warranties and liability
StockShift is provided as described on this site and otherwise “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Stackz is not liable for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data beyond what reasonable backups and the export feature would have preserved, and Stackz’s total liability under this agreement is limited to the fees your company paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for fraud or for anything that cannot be limited by law.
11. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, and disputes will be heard in the state or federal courts in Tulsa County, Oklahoma. If a clause is found unenforceable the rest stands. Stackz may update these terms; material changes are announced to admins by email at least 30 days before they take effect, and continued use after that date is acceptance.
