Stackz builds growth software for trades and suppliers: websites, marketing, design tools and the systems behind the counter. StockShift is what we built after watching too many back rooms, counters and docks run on a whiteboard, a clipboard and a spreadsheet that was wrong by Thursday.
Why a pipeline?
Sales teams have lived on pipeline boards for a decade because a board makes the next action obvious. A shipment on a dock or an order at the counter is no different. StockShift puts receiving, fulfilment and billing on boards, then wires the boards together so moving a card does the bookkeeping.
Every rule is written down and visible in the app: what posts, what allocates, what deducts, what invoices. Nothing happens in a back office you can’t see.
What we believe
- Counts should be honest. Available means available.
- Paperwork should be a by-product. BOLs, invoices and job files fall out of the work.
- The dock is a workplace. If it doesn’t work on a phone with gloves on, it doesn’t work.
- Small teams deserve roles. Seats and permissions shouldn’t be an enterprise feature.
